This glamorous engagement shoot at LACMA's "Urban Light" installation was so easy and beautiful and everything you could wish or hope for in a photo shoot. Paul and Tingkham freaking rocked it. On museum row (Wilshire) there are even segments of the Berlin Wall set up that we got to jaunt over and shoot in front of. I'm so excited to share with you some of the photographs we captured that day. Yayah!
I am a Los Angeles based wedding and portrait photographer and also a logo designer for businesses and people.
I designed this particular logo for myself for 2015. I was inspired by nature (of course!) and geometric angles - I've been loving and obsessing over copper and gold the last season or two, so I think this copper neutral represents my brand with where it's at right now. I am someone who desperately loves being outside - whether for work or play, so incorporating a contemporary nature theme into my business felt right to me.
Seen below my logos are images of my custom wood boxes that come with my wedding photography packages, each box holding a USB flash drive containing my clients' digital negatives from their wedding day.
◢ every box is made from trees that have been felled naturally by the Mountain Pine Beetles in Colorado - eco-friendly AND beautiful ◣
This yummy young s'mores catering company based in Portland, OR is owned by two people very dear to my heart. It was my pleasure to be able to brand their business and photograph their delicious gourmet s'mores. This couple's treats add a nostalgic spice to any event and the adorable retro food cart that tags along is the cherry on top!
FUN FACT: It was in the year 1927 that the first s'more was documented - and in a Girl Scout publication, no less! James & Elise Kelly, the fabulous owners behind 1927 S'mores got the name from that little slice of history.
Malibu Dreams engagement. We got caught in some typical LA traffic...racing against the clock as the sun was daring to set on us before even arriving at our destination. We made it. Barely. We kicked the sun's booty and managed to snap a few dozen snaps of gorgeousness before saying hello to Mr. Moon.
This awesome community based non-profit, Do Good Multnomah, is doing good in the lives of homeless veterans in Portland, Oregon. The bridge in this logo represents St. John's bridge, the only suspension bridge in the Willamette Valley. You can find out more about ways on how to help do good on their website: http://dogoodmultnomah.org/
Vogue. Black tie. Classic style. Wayfarer's Chapel. LOVED this wedding because these friends of mine have fabulous taste and the most beautiful relationship. They are both so at ease with themselves. They had a vision for their wedding day and just knocked it out of the park (with a peace and ease I've never seen before, at that). I was beyond honored that they asked me to document their special day. It was just beautiful.
This beautiful couple chose a classic and simple coastal event at the Bel Air Bay Club. They were surrounded by friends and family and the celebrations were in full swing! The dancing was off the charts and everyone had a fabulous time. So happy for them!
This shoot was a last minute personal project put together for the summertime with some friends of mine. My friend Jocelyn is a native Los Angelean and with her striking high cheekbones and gorgeous curves, I decided to style her shoot with a little native flair and some Cali-vibe plants as our backdrop. We had a blast just getting to be creative together!
Velvet Electric Studios is a gorgeous state of the art recording + mixing facility located in Los Angeles. I custom designed the logo and photographed the studio.
MY INSPIRATIONS: the 1920's with an Egyptian flair
I wanted to give Velvet Electric the warmer aged tones of gold to showcase the remarkable style of the studio itself, which has a warmth and stateliness to it.
